What Does This Limited Warranty Cover?

Your limited mattress warranty applies to the following:

  • Defects in material and workmanship as described in this Limited Warranty.
  • Severe body contours that exceed 1.5 inches in depth below the normal level of the product.
  • Any flaw or defect in the Mattress that causes the foam to split or crack when proper handling and normal usage are observed.

How Long Does This Limited Warranty Last?

The warranty starts on the day you complete your purchase and extends for fifteen (15) years from that original date of purchase. The warranty covers one replacement during that period.

Who Does This Limited Warranty Cover?

This Limited Warranty covers only the original purchaser, who purchases a new mattress directly from Sleep Number or an authorized reseller. It does not cover mattresses sold by unauthorized resellers, or any other 3rd party, or any mattress sold “as-is,” “preconditioned,” “reconditioned,” “used” or “previously owned.”

What Do I Need to Do to Make Sure I Don’t Invalidate My Warranty?

In order to make sure your warranty applies throughout the life of your product, you need to:

  • Follow all care and use instructions.
  • Use the included Sleep Number mattress protector.
  • Use a proper foundation system (platform bed, slatted frame with horizontal center supports and/or a foundation).
  • Don’t abuse, damage, burn, cut or stain your mattress.
  • Keep your original purchase receipt or your packing slip for proof of purchase date, and the law tags from your mattress.

How Do You Get Limited Warranty Service?

A simple claim form must be completed and submitted with a copy of the original purchase receipt or your packing slip for proof of purchase date and the law tags. You must provide transportation or accept freight charges to and from the Sleep Number warehouse in Commerce, CA for inspection of the warranted product (if requested) or to either return the product for repair or replacement of the product. At our discretion, we may request you to provide photos (digital or standard) of the defected product prior to its return for inspection, if requested.
